Gaswerk Music Concerts

The series aims to give space to the many musical currents that have flourished in recent years—currents that sit between clearly defined genres and are difficult to categorize. The common denominator is an experimental approach to sound and structure. Jazz musicians working with modular synthesizers are as much a part of this as pop musicians experimenting with open forms of composition. The series seeks to provide a platform for innovative artistic impulses that engage with socially and aesthetically relevant questions.
